Looking Lady

Experimenting with style. This experiment was pretty fun!

Crossing the stream

Another piece of concept art for my film! In this piece the little girl is trying to cross a stream to get to the dog. I imagine this section of the film as the first clue that the little girl is dead. Mainly because in some mythology you have to cross a river to get to the underworld, e.g the river Styx

Into the forest

More film concept designs. I'm kinda fond of this one! I'm pretty happy with the composition and the lighting!

Film sketches

Some quick film sketches

Walk together

Very sketchy piece of concept work of the little girl and the dog walking together

Sitting

A sketch of someone sitting on an invisible chair. The legs messed up a lot, but I wasn't paying that much attention to anatomy at the time...

Are you me?

Another picture of Lark, and a random guy.... Maybe they're related or something. I thought it would be interesting to give them the same colours :s Maybe it's older Lark....

Australia & Wy fanart

A hetalia fanart of Australia and Wy being siblings.... I'm nbot happy with how Australia tuned out at all.... but I am wuite fond of Wy :3

Character turnaround

The turnaround for the little girl in my film.

Final film concept

Concept art for my final film. i really like how the colouring ended up, so i'm hoping I can continue this in my animation
Here are the first designs for Lark. Not sure where i'd use him, But he's fun to draw! I often imagine him flying a kite, so maybe i'll do something with that

January sketch 1

Lets start this blog from January! This is a really quick sketch of a character I created. I called him Lark, but I don't know if that name will stay or not...

Welcome!

If you stumble across this blog, welcome!

My name is Claire Mason, and I am a 20 year old animation student! I'd love to be good enough to work in production/character design, so that's the goal!

This blog is anything and everything that I might draw!
